Maine Bird Flu Resource Center
The Maine Bird Flu Resource Center, established in March 2006, is a source of up-to-date information about bird flu. This site is updated daily with Maine and worldwide news about the spread of the bird flu. We provide links to authoritative state, national, and international sources of news, as well as information and medical and scientific expertise about the avian flu.
We recommend businesses, health providers, and other organizations throughout Maine put a link to this site on their websites, so that as many Mainers as possible become aware of this public health risk and know what to do about it.
The risk of a pandemic is real; the best we can do is to be prepared.
